Empowering People From Marginalised Communities

Our Mission

To promote equitable practises and advance equality in the UK by providing access to coaching and coaching training for people who are less privileged due to financial hardship, disability, race or ethnicity.

Why coaching?

And what is it?

Everyone has goals they want to reach, challenges they are striving to overcome, ideas that need a road map and times when they feel stuck.

A growing number of individuals are turning to professional coaching for support in identifying and living out their vision and purpose so they can be the best versions of themselves. Partnering with a professional coach can unlock your potential and set you on the path to thriving personally and professionally.

Working with a coach can help us:

  • Develop new perspectives and outlooks

  • Increase our self-awareness

  • Enhance our decision-making

  • Improve interpersonal effectiveness

  • Give us greater self-confidence

Our Intention

Life is not a level playing field. Some people have it easier than others and can access society’s privileges with an ease that others can not.

Coaching is one such privilege and is often far too expensive or inaccessible for the most marginalised in society. This directly affects who trains to become a coach and the diversity within the coaching world. And representation matters; we know this.

If we want to live in a more inclusive world we must address inequalities head-on and be equitable in our actions, levelling up the playing field.

If more people from marginalised communities can access coaching, more of those people will be able to unlock their full potential. If more people from under-represented communities experience coaching and can access the necessary training, more of those people will be present in the coaching community, bringing much needed diversity to such an important profession.

Our Work

We focus on two core areas:

Fund Coaching

We fund coaching for people from Black, Brown or disabled communities and those that live with financial hardship. Working directly with these communities as well as other social justice partners, we aim to bring coaching to more people. We share information and increase awareness of professional coaching, it’s benefits and how it can empower people to reach their goals.

Fund Training

We fund coaching training for people within these communities to become professional coaches. We know there are so many talented people out there working as unofficial coaches in some capacity already, finding passion and joy in helping and supporting others. With proper training this passion can become a transformational life skill, opening up career choices for individuals whilst bringing diversity to a fast-growing industry.

How can you help?

We’re just starting out and would love to hear from you if this sounds like something you want to be involved in.

Together we rise.
